
At 30° Blue we are committed to do all we can to assure that your guests enjoy the occasion you have planned on their behalf. Our service and culinary staff possess a wealth of experience in event planning for all occasions. To assure that every event meets the expectations of sponsor and guest alike, we have developed certain parameters we believe contribute to the success of hosted occasions.
Menu Planning
We are available for professional menu consultation and look forward to helping you plan an event which reflects your personal preferences and anticipates the reaction of your guests.

Final menu details and beverage requests must be completed no less than ten days prior to your event. Final guest guarantees must be provided 3 days prior to your event. If final guarantees aren’t provided, your credit will be charged for your original guarantee.

A preset menu is required for parties of twelve or more guests. The present menu may allow your guests to select from a limited choice of appitizers, salads, entrees and desserts.

We will be delighted to customize your menu and accommodate your requests for a favorite meal, regional item or special dessert, provided we can obtain the necessary ingredients for preparation.

30° Blue does not permit outside food or beverages to be brought onto the premises.

Food and beverages may not be removed from the premises unless arranged for during the planning of your event.
Deposit Requirements

A deposit equal to fifty percent of the estimated budget for the event is required at the time your menu is approved. This deposit is held by a major credit card.

Deposits are nonrefundable and are applied to your final charges.

If you don’t meet the required food and beverage minimums above for a room, you will be responsible for the balance.
Additional Charges and Gratuities
State and local sales tax of 6.5% and a service gratuity of 20% will be added to charges for private functions (unless otherwise stipulated). These percentages are based on food and beverage charges. Tax may also be assessed on charges for entertainment, decorations, equipment rentals and other special services rendered for your event. Taxes, gratuities and non-food and beverage charges are not included in calculations which establish minimum charges.

Security and Damages
30° Blue will not assume responsibility for damage or loss of any merchandise or articles left in the premises prior to, during or following the function. Any restaurant article damaged or removed from the premises becomes the responsibility of the sponsoring host. 30° Blue will not permit the affixing of anything to the walls, floors or ceiling of any room.

Detailed Planning
Prior to your event, you will receive a catering contract. You will be asked to review and sign this contract to make certain that our planning is consistent with your expectations. In addition to the contract, you will also receive a credit card authorization form. We will need a copy of your credit card (front and back). All of these forms must be faxed back. Once these documents have been received, your reservation for event will be held.
